Working Hours of the Consular Section

Monday – Friday (9:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs) of local time.

Opening Hours to the Public

Submission of the Documents to the Consular Section: Monday – Friday (09.00 hrs to 12:00 hrs)

Applicants may personally or through an agent with an authorization letter from the applicant submit their applications at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in New Delhi from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) from 9:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs of the local time (late arrivals will not be accepted).

For issuance completed of documents: Monday – Friday (15:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs)

The applicants may pick up their documents from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) from 15:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs of local time (late arrivals will not be accepted) based on the date given upon submission of the document.

Holidays

The Visa & Consular section is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and during the Holidays of the High Commission
